Frances Arnold

Minimalism meets colour in Frances Arnold's limited edition screenprints.

Frances creates geometric, abstract prints inspired by her daily movement between vast rural landscapes and contained urban architecture. In each print, Frances combines precise, architecture-inspired drawings with a passion for the colourful and textured world of ink and paper. Tactile images emerge that shift the eye between illusions of space and the material reality of line, colour and paper. Frances' subtle use of embossing accentuates voids and colours playfully alter our perception.

Frances Arnold studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and lives in Northumberland, UK.
